How much will it cost to repair my car?

Different repairs require different methods and techniques. Prices of car repairs will vary on a case to case basis, factors which will influence the price include; area damaged, extent of damage, car make and model, parts needed to be replaced, car colour and other factors. For this reason we recommend that our customers drop in and we will have a technician look at your car and provide you with a free estimate.

What must I do to make a repair claim from my insurance/another persons insurance?

Don’t worry we will handle all this. All you need to do is provide us with the relevant insurance details and we will look after your insurance claim free of charge. We will also look after arranging a replacement car while you wait for your car to be repaired.

Why is my insurance company insisting on using their repair centre?

It is not up to the insurance company to decide who repairs your car, that is your choice buy 5mg cialis online. Most of the time insurance companies are using their own centres on a purely profit based motive. Our customers prefer not to use these repair centres because not only do they know that our quality is guaranteed but also value  the service, attention to detail and individual care we provide. What type of cars do you repair?

Being in business for over 25 years we have repaired all types of cars, old and new. We are specialists in various makes and models having repaired cars for major car distributors such as VW, Ford,Toyota, BMW, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Mazda, Opel and many more. Do I need to make an appointment?

It is not necessary to make an appointment, just drop in to our Dublin based repair centre. There will always be a repair technician available to access your car during our opening hours. Otherwise if you would like to make an appointment do not hesitate to contact us.

How long will it take to repair my car?

This can very from cases to case, where some repairs can take a couple of hours and others taking a few days. General repairs like servicing, minor damage, scratches, paint restoration, bumper repairs and others will usually take a day to turn around providing your car is brought in as early in the morning as possible. We also offer a fast repair service on bumper scuffs, mirror scratches and scuffs and minor scratches to paint  work.

Do you guarantee the repair work?

Yes, we  guarantee all body and paint work for the life-time you own the vehicle

 My Vehicle Manufacturer Dealer states that I must have accident repairs undertaken by a dealer bodyshop or my warranty will be invalidated. Is this true?

No. All products used are manufacturer approved and we can undertake work to any make of vehicle and give the same guarantees as detailed above.Your Insurer may advise you to use their own Approved Repairer, but the final choice remains with you, the Policyholder. All Insurers have an obligation governed by the FSA to “Treat customers fairly”.

Will all the damage I have pointed out be undertaken?

When dealing with Insurance claims, we are only able to undertake the work which has been approved by the Insurance Company paying for the repairs. Additional work required will be at owners expense.

Will you carry out any other work I would like carried out at the same time?

Yes. It is cost effective to have additional work carried out at the same time as another repair, some of the processes do not need to be done twice reducing the cost.

If I was to provide parts will you spray them and fit them?

Yes, This is not a problem as long as they are original manufacturers parts. If they are Non OEM parts we will still fit them and spray them but cannot guarantee them.

Do you provide replacement cars?

Yes we provide replacement cars when needed.

When my car is returned to me does it need protection from the rain after spray painting?

No, The paintwork on the car is fully baked in our oven and is completely dry so water will not affect it

Is colour matching a problem?

No, We use paint which has accurate colour matching and coverage. The paint is mixed by computer formula and is aided by a Photospectrometer which reads several samples of the paint on the car and reformulates to account for fading and age.

Personal Belongings

We will take the utmost care of your personal belongings but, ideally you should remove any items you may feel necessary from your vehicle, as we are unable to take any responsibility for any losses incurred.

Security Systems

It is sometimes necessary to disconnect batteries and/ or remove wheels to enable us to carry out repairs. Please ensure you have supplied us with any radio code, alarm/imobiliser code, key or control unit and wheel lock nut key.

Excess

Should your insurance policy carry a compulsory or voluntary Excess you will be required to pay this amount directly to us. The Excess amount may differ from your standard Excess amount if a driver other than the policy holder was driving the car at the time of the incident. We can regularly absorb the excess, please contact us for further details.

Collection Note

If the repair cost is being claimed from an Insurance Company upon completion of the repair, we will ask you to sign a Collection Note. This is to confirm to the Insurance Company that the repairs have been carried out and the completed vehicle has been returned to you. Signing this form does not affect your statutory rights.

VAT

If you as the policyholder or the owner of the vehicle are registered for VAT purposes, the VAT content of any insurance claim invoice is payable directly to us by you. You will be provided with an invoice for the VAT amount, which may then be reclaimed in the normal manner on your next VAT return.

Payments

Unless you have a Credit Account with us you are required to pay any amounts you are liable for before we release your vehicle to you. We accept cash or most major Credit Cards.

Repair Completion Date

Due to complex repair processes and reliance on external Suppliers we are sometimes unable to meet original estimated completion dates. They are a “target” date and can only be confirmed once repairs are fully completed and have passed our final Quality control check. Should there be any delay we will inform you immediately and do our utmost to minimise any inconvenience.
